Children’s Activity Book: Del Bosque al Aula

Valeria Sorgato, Nature and Culture International’s Communication Coordinator for Latin America, Introduces Her New Publication, Del Bosque al Aula to Educators in Ecuador.

Del Bosque al Aula is a new workbook created for educators to help their students learn about ecosystems in southern Ecuador and specific threats to biodiversity in their communities. The workbook also highlights how the children can help steward and protect their natural surroundings. The workbook was accepted as part of the required curriculum in southern Ecuador to support youth environmental education in the region.

Valeria Sorgato helped to develop this workbook for local educators. In the video below she is at NCI’s San Francisco Scientific Station in Ecuador, providing teacher training on the unique cloud forest ecosystem.
