Each area is unique and we employ many different strategies to protect them. In our 25+ years, we haven’t had a single protected area reversed.
Our Private Reserves
While our primary focus is on collaborating with local communities and governments to establish protected areas, we also maintain a few private reserves. These key areas were preserved because they couldn’t be safeguarded through government declarations.
